Assalamu Alikum-

I would like to introduce myself, I am the instructor for Quaranic Reading Level 7, Sr. Lana Aldabagh.  

We aim to cover this semester the seven suras from the textbook; “Seven Suras for the Classroom” which is available for sale. The seven suras are: Ya-Sin 1-5; Ar Rahman 1-3; Al Jumuah 1-2; As Saff 1-2; Al Mulk 1-2 and Al Asr 1.

Every week or two, we will be studying one section from each sura; and we will be reading with tajweed, memorizing and learning the meaning of 10 frequently used words in the sura. 

There will be an announced vocabulary quiz every other week.

In addition, we will be memorizing ayas from ‘Surat el-Mulk’ throughout the year (as extra credit). 

Assessment: Your progress will be assessed by quizzes, reading with tajweed and vocabulary words, mid-term and final exams. Please complete your homework and be prepared each week.
