My name is Amira Quraishi, and I am happy to fill in for Hajarah while she is unable to teach. I have taught Islamic studies at Swarthmore College and the University of Pennsylvania, while I was in graduate school in the Religious Studies Dept at UPenn. I am also on the Board of the Muslim Youth Camp of California and the Mizaan Retreat. It is a privilege to teach the Religion 9 class at ICB Wayland and I hope we will all learn a lot together over the course of the year. As I have just come on to the staff, I have not yet planned out the whole syllabus for the year, so please bear with me for a few weeks. Thanks.
